About Us

CrossFit Conifer is a thriving gym that’s grown over 70% over the last 2 years, each year. It was founded in 2012, and purchased by Javier in 2022. Since purchasing the gym, Javier believes in testing new ideas often to get to the best result which has resulted in a fast growing gym. Members as a result they’ve come to expect rapid change and iteration on a regular basis towards something better. Many of these changes have come from the employees themselves, at CrossFit Conifer, everyone meets regularly to discuss ideas and opportunities, and most of the best ideas have come from the coaches on the floor.

CrossFit Conifer believes in the methodology of CrossFit, we’ve gone back to the core of great CrossFit programming and utilize our ability to coach professionally to unleash the potential of what CrossFit has to offer. Our community loves CrossFit and has seen the many benefits it provides. We train everyone from 12 years old to 86 years old. We train athletes that can run 5 minute miles and we train athletes whose only aim is to stay out of the wheelchair when they turn 105. 

About This Opportunity 

You should be someone who is a self-starter, exhibits high energy working with clients, is a motivator, and cares about building a great community and culture in the gym. We are a small team and this person must exemplify the core values of our culture through their daily work. They should have a “roll up their sleeves” mentality, taking an ownership mindset when in the gym and priding themselves on their work. You are also someone who seeks out opportunities for growth and continuous improvement.

This role reports to our owner/manager. It is responsible for conducting large group CrossFit classes of up to 16 people, personal training and small group personal training of up to 6 people. This role will involve 20-25 hours per week of training floor time with members and 5-15 hours per week of administrative work.  The ideal candidate should enjoy being in a gym and have a strong passion for helping others succeed and delivering results. They should want to continually improve themselves through education and take an active interest in bringing ideas to improve community, growth and development in the gym.

A full-time coach at CrossFit Conifer will have a consistent training block every day of 4-5 hours with allocated time to work on administrative tasks either in the gym or remotely. You will have a consistent schedule each week consisting of full-time work and be paid a consistent full-time wage. All new coaching positions with CrossFit Conifer start with our 60 day onboarding program. During this time, you get to understand our systems and ways of working to evaluate if it's a fit for you. We also get to meet and work with you to understand if you’re a fit for our community. We love adding people to our team but we also take the act of adding people seriously. It is important we use this initial period to evaluate fit on both sides. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year working with fitness clients, either in personal training or leading group CrossFit classes. This will ideally also include work with middle school or high school aged athletic populations and elderly populations. Experience with customer service is also essential for this role. Required Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Maintains a positive attitude and provides exemplary customer service

  • Skilled with a variety of office technology – Google Drive

Preferred Skills (not required)

  • Up-to-date CF Level 1-4, CPT, CSCS, or CFSC certification

  • At least 1 year working with fitness clients, either personal training or leading classes

  • Up-to-date CPR/AED certification
